Pet Astronaut Portrait – Your Dog or Cat in Space

Meet the four Space Explorer designs

In Astronaut, your pet floats weightlessly in a white vintage space suit, Earth glowing blue behind it; the clear bubble helmet keeps its face fully on show. Moon Walk sets it down on the grey lunar surface, helmet resting beside it, a plain white flag planted nearby and Earth rising over the horizon. As Star Captain, it takes the command seat of a retro spaceship in a navy uniform with gold trim, surrounded by glowing dials, with a colorful nebula beyond the window. And Planet Explorer sends it across violet rocks on an alien world, a giant ringed planet and two moons hanging in the swirling sky. Deep navy, cosmic violet and warm amber tie the series together.

From phone photo to pet astronaut portrait

Place your order, then upload your photo straight away – on the order confirmation page, in your customer account or through the link in our email. Already tried the free preview on the product page? Then we reuse that photo and you simply confirm the theme. Our AI usually creates 4 designs within minutes; you pick your favorite and we send it to print. Want four takes on one scene? Choose 1–2 favorite designs beforehand, for example Moon Walk, and all four designs will be variations of it.

The right photo for lift-off

Pick a picture where your pet's face is clearly visible and the eyes are sharp, ideally shot at eye level in good daylight and without heavy filters. A phone photo is plenty. Dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, birds and more can all join the crew, as long as head and face are easy to see. Each portrait shows one pet, so for a whole crew you simply order one portrait per animal.

Formats, and who will love it

Choose a matte museum-quality poster, a poster with a wooden frame (matte or semi-matte), canvas, framed canvas or acrylic glass, in 12×16″, 18×24″ or 24×32″ (30×40, 45×60 or 60×80 cm), portrait format 3:4. We print in your region, and once you have picked your design, delivery usually takes 5–10 business days, occasionally up to 2 weeks. It makes a great gift for space-obsessed kids, sci-fi fans, or anyone whose cat already acts like it owns the galaxy.

Frequently asked questions

Will my pet's face be hidden by a space helmet?

No. In the Astronaut design your pet wears a clear bubble helmet, and in the other scenes the helmet is off, so its face always stays fully visible and recognizable.

Does the astronaut portrait work for cats and other pets?

Yes. Cats, dogs, rabbits, horses, birds and many other animals work well, as long as the photo shows the head and face clearly.

What if I don't like any of the 4 designs?

You get one free extra round of 4 new designs, with a different photo if you like. Until then you can even switch to another theme.

Can I see a preview before I buy?

Yes. Upload a photo on the product page and you will see a free preview in the Space Explorer theme before you order.
